About the Study

This 24-week study sponsored by Janssen Research and Development is investigating a nasal spray medication for adults battling treatment resistant depression (TRD).

If your depression hasn’t responded to two different medications, this research study could be right for you.


To be eligible to participate:

Be between the ages of 18-65

Suffer from depression

Have or have had a major depressive episode

Take or have taken two different antidepressants

Dr. Alexander Bystritsky M.D, P.hD.

Dr. Alexander Bystritksy, M.D, Ph.D., is a California board-certified Psychiatrist with over 30 years of experience conducting clinical research in Phase II-IV sponsor-initiated trials. Dr. Bystritsky is currently the Lead Investigator on all the current research studies at CalNeuro Research Group. He’s a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a Life Fellow of the American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology (ASCP). He is also a Professor Emeritus at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).
